Fair Information

In 2010 we celebrate the 106th Fall Fair, 62nd Corn Festival, and "BC's Best Little Fair".

Included in the activities will be a parade, stage entertainment, midway, corn husking, livestock, 4-H exhibits, educational displays, antique tractor pull, home arts, photography, farmer’s market, kids’ corn’r, crafts, flowers and vegetables. The crowning of the Corn King or Queen will take place on the stage. There is always some of the traditional fair activities and something new.

On Friday night, the midway, will again offer a special price for rides. Our midway has one of the best collections of rides for a fair. The Friday night entertainment is being finalized and there will be great musicians for you to enjoy.

On Saturday the 4-H will be well represented with cattle, horses, pigs, sheep, swine, dogs, goats, rabbits, sewing and educational poster. The Agricultural Hall will be full of the latest entries in the baking, canning, vegetable, flower and handicraft sections. The Hall will be open on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The Saturday stage entertainment will include the crowning of the Corn King or Queen, musicians, dancers, the goat milking contest and the corn husking contest. There will be a BMX bike demonstration, as well as the popular antique tractor pulling contest and the lawn mower races.

This year there will be a rabbit decorating contest. For a minimum of $50 a wooden rabbit will be given out to decorate. All monies raised will go to the Chilliwack Hospital Building Fund. Special prizes will be awarded to the winners.
